Job Openings

Part-Time Kitchen Coordinator

The Kitchen Coordinator helps oversee the daily operation, cleanliness, and organization of the kitchen at Barnabas Prep, including maintaining food safety standards, and preparing meals for the students and staff. The Kitchen Coordinator also works alongside students, helping teach basic cooking skills, kitchen responsibilities, and proper hygiene. In collaboration with the residential team, this role helps create a welcoming, home-like, Christ-centered environment. The kitchen plays an important role in helping students grow in independence while building a culture of respect, dignity, and community within daily residential life. The Kitchen Coordinator will collaborate/communicate with both the Food Services Director and the Prep Director to provide a healthy, efficient, safe, and fun kitchen operations system at Barnabas Prep.

Resident Life Coordinator

Resident Life Coordinators oversee student campus life at Barnabas Prep, providing leadership and support to all students with disabilities in all areas. They create a safe, nurturing,
and structured home environment while planning and leading all weekend and evening activities on and off campus. They equip and empower students in their development of social and life skills through providing spiritual guidance, promoting confidence and reinforcing personal responsibility. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Positions begin in mid-August and continue through late May. Room and board, along with some meals, are provided.

Prep Fellow

Fellows assist both Educators and Resident Life Coordinators by walking alongside our Residential students in both classroom and campus life settings. Fellows provide guidance, encouragement, and structure to help students develop self-confidence, societal significance, and spiritual maturity in Christ. They foster a positive living-learning environment and reinforce all vocational, life and social skills learned in and outside of the classroom. Fellows serve as student advocates ensuring every student receives the appropriate support they need to flourish. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

 

Positions begin in mid-August and continue through late May. Room and board, along with some meals, are provided.
